To the Reader..
Hi all!
Just popping in to give a quick update on my 3 part series that I launched here in November...as I could have probably predicted, I chose the worst time of year to start that series! Between the holidays, a shifting schedule in the yoga studio as well as at my day job, and run-of-the-mill "struggle is real" adventures, I definitely put an unexpected halt on further blog posts without any explanation.
On top of that, I have to be honest and say that I've also just flat-out struggled a bit as far as sharing the second part of my story. I have LOTS OF FEELINGS!!! And lots of them are mixed--potentially controversial even--and the last thing I want to do is alienate anybody reading, or unintentionally invalidate anyone else's experiences. I've written drafts of a blog post at least three times, even going so far as to post one of them, and deleted all three. I've recorded audio, giving more of a podcast feel to the whole presentation--which I think actually worked a bit better, but still, between my lack of technical prowess and impulsive deletion, that has also yet to land.
So that's where we are.
Otherwise things are fantastic, so no worries on my end! I just wanted to step in and apologize for the lack of content here, especially after re-launching this blog with so much enthusiasm. I absolutely love teaching yoga and have already learned so much in the five-ish months that I've been in the gym and studio getting experience. I'm starting to understand my own path more and more, have my first workshop coming up this month, and my personal practice has never been stronger. I'm grateful and fulfilled and that's all that matters at the end of the day.
But. 2020 is full of goals and one of them is to become more consistent with my creative projects (more on that soon!), one of which of course is everything here at The Posers Club. So while I'm not there yet, I hope you're willing to stick it out and strive for improvement and consistency in 2020, no matter what that looks like for you!
More soon! I promise I"ll be back with the rest of my self-love series and lots more. Thanks for reading!
XO
